I guess it's a girl baby!

Cayden's sunday school teacher caught me before church this morning to show me his craft project he did. The lesson was about how Jesus is a sheperd and we are like His sheep. They were to put a sheep on for each of their family members. He made sure she labelled all the sheep appropriately....
I guess we're having a baby girl....silly sweet boy!!!

Don't they have any girl babies?

As I'm looking at a magazine, Cayden spots a picture of a woman who is pregnant.

He asks me: "Mommy, are you going to have a big belly like that?"

me: "Yes, but mine will probably be alot bigger! (as I'm giggling)"

Cayden: "Oh, well I want it to be a girl baby"

Me: "It might be a boy, or it might be a girl, we don't know yet"

Cayden: "Don't they have any girl babies?"

Me: "Who?"

Cayden: "the doctors!"

Me: "Honey, GOD already chose who this baby is, He decided if it is a boy or a girl, we just have to wait & see what God gave us."

Cayden: "Oh, does God make girl babies?"

Me: "Yep, he does!"

Cayden: "Okay, I hope we get a girl baby!"

I'm still giggling....he just makes me laugh & laugh. We don't hardly even talk about the gender of this baby, and we certainly aren't just talking girl. It's so funny to hear his "wants" and his perception of who decided the gender...i guess when we go to the hosptial the Doctor will bring us a girl baby or a boy baby!! :) Awe, gotta love these kids!!

We told Cayden.....

We told Cayden last night that we are having another baby. He's too smart & would have picked it up, so we told him at dinner. He smiled, looked at us funny and said "so, can we just sell Prestyn, and then we get a girl baby?"

We both started laughing, but made sure he knew that Prestyn was still ours too, we were just going to have one more baby, so it would be him, Prestyn and the new baby. We let him know that we are keeping Prestyn.

He said "oh, well I want a girl baby"

Where's Cayden?

Do you see him?? We were shopping at Old Navy and Cayden was standing looking at the manequins, I told him to say hi, he did and then laughed. I asked him if he'd like his picture taken with them and he said "yes", climbed up, looked at the girl & said "hi"! I was about rolling it made me laugh so hard! Silly boy!

My baby turned ONE today! We're gonna eat some cake this afternoon & have a party for him on Saturday!

WOW, Cayden is sooo funny! I was getting out of the shower today & he came into the bathroom. He looked at me & said "what's that smell?" and before I had a second to answer he said "It smells like there's a baby in your belly!" Then he started smiling.

I about fell over I was laughing so hard....where does he come up with this stuff....I mean really?

He's been on a kick lately of asking for a GIRL baby, and wanting to know if we can have another baby. He even talks about HIS baby girl.

I told him that Mommy does NOT have a baby in her belly. Then I asked him if he thought we should have another baby, and he said "yeah, a girl one"

Teehee - he just makes me laugh & smile! LOVE IT!

Our fun at the fair

We had fun with the fair in town. Cayden loved going on all the rides, and wanted to ride the Ferris Wheel all the time. We ate alot of yummy fair food, and even listened to some music.

THE ZOO!!

We went to the zoo today!

Justyn has worked 12 of the last 16 nights and he had yesterday & today off so we decided to do something fun as a family & headed off to the zoo. It was kids day, so they had all kinds of games and prizes for the little ones. Cayden had ALOT of fun. Prestyn was awesome, he just sat in the stroller & observed everything going on & when we'd stop to check out an animal he'd just watch.

When we were getting close to the monkey's I said something like "should we go see the monkeys?" and Cayden said "the monkey's, Just like me?" (we call him monkey) :) It was cute!

We all touched a snake. Cayden got to sit in a firetruck and an ambulance. It was a fun day.






After the zoo we had lunch with Uncle Ryan and then he kept the boys for us while we did a little shopping. It was so nice! What a great Uncle these boys have!!

Tonight's Fun!

We had a fun evening tonight. After dinner we took a little walk & of course ended up at the church playground. Cayden ALWAYS wants to go there and swing and go on the slide. Prestyn has been LOVING the swing too. So tonight I was prepaired for it & brought my camera along. Here they are:

Turtle Catch'n

and driving 4-wheelers through the mud & muck chasing cows & calves & Cayden hollering "whoo, hoo, YEAH" Papa & I took Cayden down to the turtle pond to try & catch some turtles.

It was a rainy, dreary day, and the turtles were teasing us, there were TONS of them, but they were just out of reach



We didn't catch any, but we sure had fun & ALMOST caught a couple frogs (if I wasn't a pansy girl, scared to touch a frog- teehee)
But we did pick some flowers for grammie. Cayden LOVES to give flowers, what a sweet boy!

Oh my, Cayden is a GOOBER. I tried taking a self portrait today of me with the boys. Well for some reason Cayden thinks its funny to stick his tongue out or throw gang signs all the time. Wonder where he gets that from!?!? Anyways - these are too funny I just HAD to share!

Cayden came in from playing outside yelling

"Mommy, I got you a flower"

and proceeds to whip out a dandelion and hold it out for me!

I got big ole tears in my eyes...he was sooo proud to bring me a flower. He just had permagrin.

I got down on my knees, told him "thank you, you just made my day" and gave him a huge hug and tried not to cry!

(btw - there are now 3 dandelions, 2 large and one head in that glass- teehee)

Some outdoor fun

Today we dyed Easter Eggs with the boys - well - at least with Cayden. Prestyn ended up napping through most of it! This was our first run at dying Easter Eggs and we had alot of fun.

After we finished dying the eggs I took Cayden to an Easter Egg hunt at the senior center, while Justyn stayed home with Prestyn (napping again). We ran into a bunch of friends at the egg hunt. Here's my big boy waiting patiently for them to tell him to go searching:
