almost 36 week OB appointment

I had my almost 36 week OB check yesterday. They did the group B strep test, and all the other "normal" stuff. I'm measuring 37 1/2 weeks, baby's hb was 130's - 140's, nothing changing
"down there" so it looks like she'll stay put for awhile longer!

I go back May 13th for my 38 week check and to set up our birth plan at the hospital. Its hard to believe we're getting this close!!! YAY!

I'll work on getting a 36 week belly pic up this weekend.

WE WENT FISHING!

We took the kids out fishing at the kiddie pond in Riverdale today.
It was a little chilly with the wind, but at least the sun was shining.
We used corn and hot dogs for bait.
Prestyn just wanted to throw in every rock and stick he could find.

One of the 3 million sticks Prestyn threw into the pond.

Finally I got him distracted (only for about 2 minutes) with a bucket & shovel.
The same shovel then ended up IN the pond.
(thanks to Daddy for "fishing" it back out)

Me and the Hubbs!!

Cayden was so happy to get to go fishing.
He couldn't even take a nap today he was so excited to go fishing.
Once that "yellow" pole was in his hands - he was HAPPY!!

Cayden got a bite!!!

Do you see it - it's actually kinda big?

Our little man - reel'n in a fish!!

Holy Smokes - Cayden really caught a fish!! I was squeeling with delight right now.
(probably because I knew I wouldn't have to actually touch it) teehee

Check out Cayden's cheese face! He was so proud!
Prestyn was saying "hold you", "hold you"

MY BOYS!!
So proud of our little man catching a big ole fish on his teeny little pole!!

He even jumped off the hook.

Oh man, we have to throw him back?
The boys were so excited to have actually caught a fish.
The whole drive home Cayden kept asking Prestyn "did you see that fish I caught"
"it was big huh?"
I'm pretty sure EVERYONE we see for the next few days will be hearing our fishing story!

We had a fun afternoon!!
I'm sure these boys will be sleeping hard tonight after all that fresh air & fun!

A visit with FarmChick

We got to head out to the "farm" this morning to visit FarmChick aka Auntie Heather and see the new baby chicks that had just hatched. My boys were so excited.
Here they are with Beau taking a peek.
Prestyn thought they were great, and kept saying "hi" to them.

But pretty soon he was being beckoned by Spencer to come say hi to him & Red.

So Auntie took the boys in to greet the horses. They were both very friendly.

Red is a big ole horse and so sweet!!

And Spencer LOVED the attention and getting HUGS!!

Of course we also had to peek at the bunnies! Prestyn just had a ball, he kept telling all the animals "hi". By this time Cayden had disappeared with Beau up in the tree fort.

Thanks for having us out to see the babies & horses Heather!
My boys LOVED it.

SUNSHINE!!

All I can say is YAY for sunshine!!!
It's been so gloomy/windy here for awhile, it was so nice to finally have some sunshine and warmth. Justyn mowed the lawn & watered it & of course the boys found the "mud hole" :) They had so much fun!

Yep, we even let them run through the sprinkler!

When it was off, they tried drinking the water from the ends, and then daddy turned the water on. :) Those were the best squeals!!

Before all that water they had fun playing in the sanbox.

And posing for pictures for mom of course!

Prestyn attempted to ride his trike...but those legs are just a little to short yet.

Cayden has mastered his bike, and loves to cruise around on it now.

Play date!

We met some friends at the park to enjoy some sunshine & fun!
Cayden and Asher had some fun!!

They thought they were so cool to be up on this tree.

We have been just loving the sunshine & being outside!! YAY!

YAY!

Grammie & Papa come tomorrow! WHOOHOO!!!

32 week OB check!

I had my 32 week OB check yesterday in B-town. It was our first OB check with Dr. P, as we had been seeing our family Dr. the rest of the pregnancy. Dr. P was the same Dr. we had with Cayden and Prestyn.

It was so exciting to see her again. It makes me realize how close we are to meeting our little princess.

Anywho, baby's hb was high 130's yesterday and I'm measuring 33.5 weeks. We go back at 35 weeks for a check, then 37 and every week until the end.

So exciting!!

Dinner time fun!

We spent the weekend at Nana & Papa's house.
Some of the cousins came home too.
Nana made spagetti for dinner on Saturday night and somehow, these sweet young men, found a way to get my innocent 20 month old boy to put spagetti EVERYWHERE. (certainly he would NEVER do such a thing on his own)

CULPRIT #1 - CHANCE:
CULPRIT #2 - KOLE:
CULPRIT #3 - CAYDEN:
CULPRIT #4 - BEAU:

Some of their WORK IN PROGRESS:

And the results:

One, slimy, ooey gooey, messey little Prestyn, who was VERY happy to be the center of these big boy's attention. He also happily oblidged them in the slopping of spaggeti sauce and noodles all over his hair, ears and face, arms and clothing.
Lets just say I had to SCRUB his scalp to get the red out!! Silly boys!

HAPPY EASTER!!

Happy Easter.
We went to Justyn's parents place on Friday, midst the sleet and snow. It was quite a sloppy, messy journey but we made it safely.
Heather and I got all the easter eggs ready for the kids on Saturday & while they were eating lunch headed out to "hide" the eggs.
Well, there was mosly icy snow, and a couple vehicles, so our hiding consisted of throwing the eggs into the snow!! :)
When the kids finished eating we sent them outside for their hunt - they were wild and crazy and had a ball.
Prestyn got his own private egg hunt inside. He had some guidance from mom & dad and some big boy cousins who wanted to help! He thought the CANDY was great!!

Nana made some eggs nests. I'm pretty sure there weren't any PEEPS left when we left on Sunday ~ and it had NO correlation to ME having been there, no way, no how.
