"Mommy, I got you a flower"
and proceeds to whip out a dandelion and hold it out for me!
I got big ole tears in my eyes...he was sooo proud to bring me a flower. He just had permagrin.
I got down on my knees, told him "thank you, you just made my day" and gave him a huge hug and tried not to cry!
I had to take pictures to document this occasion.
(btw - there are now 3 dandelions, 2 large and one head in that glass- teehee)

ReplyDeleteI've been getting dandelions by the handfulls from Hopey---she even asked the neighbor if she could pick them in HER yard! LOL!
Then yesterday, Charlie came home from school with a handful of wild flowers--crocus and some other purpley ones---soooo pretty!! Just so you know, it doesn't stop when they get 11! LOL!!!!!!
