SOCCER!!

We have an exciting year this year!!

Prestyn gets to play soccer too!  They boys were both so excited for the first night!

The first night it usually mass choas, but it wasn't too bad this year!

Here they are waiting to kick a goal.

 Sidney & I got to hang out & watch & cheer them on!

 I haven't got very many good pics up to this point, but HAD to share this one, makes me laugh out loud!!

Cayden is in 1st grade!

Our 6 year old all ready to go to 1st grade!!

 Headed for the bus! No fear, just straight up excited!

 We missed him during the day & waiting for him to get off the bus.

He came running & I was sure he was headed to hug his brother & sister.

 I was pleasantly surprised when I...his mama got the 1st big hug!!

 Then he went & gave Prestyn & Sidney & Daddy their hugs!

 We proceeded inside to hear all about his day & have an icecream treat.

He told us he LOVES school & wanted to write thank you notes to his teacher, principal & bus driver & tell them how awesome they were! And he did! :) 

He's such a soft heart & I know he'll do great again this year!

So proud of him!



Our Last Camping trip!

We went to Fort Lincoln State Park for our last camping trip of the season!

We started it off with a little bike ride/walk.

 Sidney tried, but ended up ditching her trike & walking.

 Then they found a toad.

Ma's Birthday!

It worked out great as Ma Klatt was coming to B-town to pick K & H's boys....and it was her birthday.

So Heather & I did some chatting & convinced Ryan to come down & we made a cake, ordered pizza & had a little "party" for her!

For SOME REASON unbeknown to me...Ma thinks Heather & I would put candles in her cake that magically re-lit...

IF ONLY we had been that prepared...darn it.

Next time.

Cayden's new headboard!

We NEEDED to get a headboard for Cayden's bed.

Papa had a great idea & hooked us up with this old door from the farm.

He told me he had it in his "door shed"....now I'm curious to see what other doors he has & what other projects we can do.

So....here is the starting point.

 Cayden now has a rock'n new headboard for his transformers room!

 Pretty sweet if I do say so myself!

Kole's Lawn Care

Last night, this dude rolled up ready to mow our lawn.

I had to run out & take pictures to blog.

He's so funny!

He even put "K" flags on his lawnmower!!

 So proud of his set up!

 Here's Kole rock'n his "Kole's Lawn Care" t-shirt I had made for him!

He said he will wear it for every lawn job he has.

Never seen him so excited as when I tossed that at his face!

:) We love that he's mowing lawn & being an entrepreneur!

Kole does an excellent job trimming & mowing lawns.

Racecar matching

Saw this idea on Pinterest too, just can't remember the link.

I made the alphabet in uppercase & lowercase "parking lots" for the boys.

I called out "Big B" or "little z" & whoever had it had to park their car on the matching space!

This was quite entertaining.

 Once they got focused they ROCKED at this game!

We shall play again with numbers!!

Nature Scavenger Hunt!

We had a nice cool morning the other day so we decided to go for a hike & take a nature scavenger hunt.

 P-dids was NOT impressed with the idea at first. Sidney & C-man were however STOKED to go for a hike & hunt!

 It didn't take long & P was in the groove!

Call it his competitive spirit, he wanted to beat C!
