ANOTHER GREAT DAY!

I love days like this. Just relaxing in the sun with the family! We went for a picnic in the park for lunch, came home for P's nap, then played out in the sprinkler most of the rest of the afternoon, it was great! i just LOVE days like this. Life doesn't get much better!

Our weekend at my sisters!

I took my boys to my sister's house this weekend to meet new baby Anthony Blake! :) He's so perfect and cute!! I love him!

We tried to do a photoshoot of the kids for a diaperswappers contest, but found out later we were too late..oh well, they are still cute! :)

Prestyn's FIRST haircut!

Well, we finally got Prestyn's 1 year pictures taken and when we got home I decided it was time to cut the curls off. Bittersweet, but exciting. He did great, he just sat there.

Just enjoying our time at mine svesters. We've been playing with his cloth diapers and trying them on, figuring out how they snap down - etc. He's so adorable! :)

TOMORROW!!!

We're so excited. Cayden, Prestyn & I leave for Williston in the morning to meet my new baby nephew Anthony! I'm so excited to see him, hold him & smell his sweet baby smell. WHOOHOO!!

WOW, Cayden is sooo funny! I was getting out of the shower today & he came into the bathroom. He looked at me & said "what's that smell?" and before I had a second to answer he said "It smells like there's a baby in your belly!" Then he started smiling.

I about fell over I was laughing so hard....where does he come up with this stuff....I mean really?

He's been on a kick lately of asking for a GIRL baby, and wanting to know if we can have another baby. He even talks about HIS baby girl.

I told him that Mommy does NOT have a baby in her belly. Then I asked him if he thought we should have another baby, and he said "yeah, a girl one"

Teehee - he just makes me laugh & smile! LOVE IT!

Brush Lake

We went out to Brush Lake on Sunday afternoon to catch up with our old neighbors from Bismarck. We hadn't seen them since Cayden was about 6 months old. It was so nice to visit them at their cabin and catch up. Lorne gave us a ride on their boat. Prestyn fell asleep and Cayden loved it.

My Hubbs!

Awe, the love of my life! :) We were planning to go to the street dance on Saturday night, had the kids in bed, Chance all set up and left with Nana, Papa and Uncle Ryan. Got in, talked to a few people and it started raining. So we walked home & said if it cleared up we'd go back.

Needless to say we sat in the garage the rest of the night watching the DOWNPOUR!! ICKY! But we still had a good time!

Turtle Days (in pictures)

We went to Turtle Lake on Saturday morning with Heather and her boys. Justyn was working and came in the evening. The boys were all excited for the parade and turtle races.

The big boys were all over getting the candy from the parade, while Cayden stood by the stroller with his hands behind his back. I had to nudge him forward & say "get the candy Cayden" (mama needed some candy too). It was pretty funny! He loved watching the parade & Prestyn enjoyed it too.

George/"Flash" actually made it to the top 18 out of 100+ turtles. We were all overjoyed with his speed and agility. Way to Go FLASH!

We headed down to mainstreet to watch the kiddie tractor pull, toilet races (yes you read that correctly) and egg toss, but there was a bank "robbery" and "shootout" so we watched that instead! :) It was a fun day!

Turtle Days

We are back from a fun/busy weekend in Turtle Lake for Turtle Days! It was a fun time, but exhausting. It feels good to be back home, for one day, then off we go again!! I'll try to post pictures later! :)

MORE SWEET BABY GOODNESS!!!

My sis just posted new pics of Anthony and I just had to share...he just makes me heart go all pitter patter. He's so adorable....I'm getting my baby fix for now, only 9 more days until I get to meet him in real life. I can't wait!!!

My sister Stephanie and her hubs Chuck had their sweet baby boy today! He was born at 7:29 am today and was 9lbs 9oz, 21 inches long. He has dark hair and blue eyes. He's nursing great and they seem to be doing well!

Congrats to Chuck & Stephanie, and big brothers Charlie & Alexander and big sister Hope!!! :)

Our fun at the fair

We had fun with the fair in town. Cayden loved going on all the rides, and wanted to ride the Ferris Wheel all the time. We ate alot of yummy fair food, and even listened to some music.
