Chance getting a little snuggle in.

Kole holding Sidney. He wasn't too sure what to do at first, but turned out to be a real pro.

Beau - he just loves the babies - he loved holding Sidney.

Auntie Heather couldn't wait to get her hands on her new neice!

Great Grandma Geigle giving the little miss some love.

Uncle Ryan loves his snuggles too - he'll admit it.

Kinda sad.....

I'm just sitting on the couch getting some early morning snuggles in with my little man. Yep, he was up & at em at 5:30 this morning saying "Mommy, wake up, blanket, snuggle" It's what we've been doing for about the last month. When he wakes up (at the butt crack of dawn) every day we grab some blankets & snuggle on the couch & watch cartoons together. Then when Cayden wakes up (ususally at least 1 hour later) we get breakfast ready.

I can't believe this morning is my last morning snuggling my "baby boy". Soon his whole world will be changing & I don't think he even knows.

Of course this morning he's being super duper cute. Giving me cheesy smiles, and kisses and saying "lub you mommy" Maybe he does know that things are gonna change & that's why he's been waking up so early & being so lovey dovey??

Either way, when I'm looking at my boys this morning, I'm realizing how big they are going to look pretty soon and it makes me a little sad. I remember when Prestyn was born & suddenly Cayden was such a big boy. Now it's going to happen again with Prestyn & it just seems crazy. Okay, I have to quit thinking about it or I'll cry.

Off to enjoy this bliss of snuggles with my 2 favorite little men in the world. Then later its off to the dr!! WHOOT WHOOT!!

39 week ob

I had my 39 week ob visit on Thursday. I haven't gained any more weight, baby is still head down. HB was 130-140, I'm dialated to a 1 and 50% effaced. :( I was hoping for more progress than that, but she said with 2nd and 3rd pregnancies, its not such a slow process, all I'll need is some real contractions and we'll be on our way!

So all is good, we go back next Friday to get checked again & then induction is scheduled for Saturday if she hasn't come on her own by then. I'm hoping she does, but who knows, its all a guessing game.

I'm making labor cake today, even if it doesn't work - I'll be a happy mama with lots of chocolate!! teehee

Nana came to visit!!

We had an awesome day yesterday! Nana came to town to visit. We went to a few rummage sales, headed out to the lake and grilled lunch with Kerry & Heather & the boys! Then we came home & sat in the yard while the boys played. It was fun to get to spend some time together - and the boys absolutely LOVED having Nana here!! Thanks for coming Nana - we LOVE you!!

The cake that hasn't been eaten!

We had planned to have Cayden's 4th birthday party last Friday, but he ended up getting a yucky cold, and it was SNOWING. So we cancelled it. He said that was okay because "I don't want to get my friends sick".
So my first solo attempt at marshmallow fondant is all wrapped up in the freezer. I'm hoping that it thaws well so we can still eat it. Oh well, at least it was fun to make & kept me occupied for a day!! HA
Cayden wanted the hat to be a GREEN with a YELLOW 4, I listened!

Grammie & Papa

Grammie & Papa came to visit for what was supposed to be Cayden's birthday party.
It snowed, and the boys both had nasty colds so it got cancelled,
but we still ended up having a good time and the boys loved having special snuggle/play time with Grammie & Papa.

The boys loved looking at books with Papa. Prestyn kept reaching up & rubbing his beard.
Grammie built a fort with the boys in the living room, they had a blast tearing it down & making her put it back up!! teehee
And just to prove that it really did snow!!

Cayden's 4th Birthday!

Cayden had a great 4th birthday!
We took cupcakes with the number 4 on them for his class at sunday school.
For supper we ordered pizza and wings and after that we had cupcakes and ice cream!! YUM!
His candle even sang happy birthday!

After supper we had him open his presents.
Here they are when daddy brought them out! So excited!

He ripped right into the present.

Cayden was so sweet to "share" them with Prestyn and made sure we all got to see what he got.

He had a wonderful birthday!
We love you Cayden.

Happy 4th Birthday Cayden Lane!

4 years ago forever changed our lives.
On that day we celebrated the addition of Cayden Lane to our family!
He has been such a blessing in our lives and such a fun little man.
It's hard to believe my "baby" turns 4 today.
Here he is fresh & new in the hospital.
Our little bubbs.

Heading home from the hosptial.

Definately a gift from God!!

So handsome!!

And look what we have now.
This amazing 4 year old who wants to do everything himself.
He loves to be outside, as long as the trees aren't moving he thinks that's where he needs to be. He loves helping, weather it be hanging up a coat, mixing pancake batter, pushing the chairs in, putting toys away etc, he is a very joyful helper.
Cayden loves to read books, write, drive tractors and ride his bike, he also loves to tease his little brother, and is VERY excited to have a new girl baby!

It's hard to believe our baby will be going to preschool this fall.
We love you Cayden, and hope you have a wonderful birthday! Thanks for being such a great little man.

Thank you Lord, for blessing us with a healthy, handsome little boy!!
