IF YOU LIKE TO TALK TO TOMATOE'S

Sorry, this is the song Cayden has been obsessed with singing & its in my head and obviously tomatoes make me think of his veggie tales song!!

moving right along:

We came home from vacation to all of this garden produce, and I've picked more tomatoes and zucchini since then. I just chopped 16 cups of zucchini for the freezer - not even sure how much I already have in there.
So I decided to venture into canning and made a batch of salsa and a batch of pasta sauce. This is my salsa....it smelled really yummy, and was actually quiet fun to do...and ALL my jars sealed! YAY for a successful first time!!

I got 5 pints of salsa and 5 pints of pasta sauce!! SUCCESS!

We told Cayden.....

We told Cayden last night that we are having another baby. He's too smart & would have picked it up, so we told him at dinner. He smiled, looked at us funny and said "so, can we just sell Prestyn, and then we get a girl baby?"

We both started laughing, but made sure he knew that Prestyn was still ours too, we were just going to have one more baby, so it would be him, Prestyn and the new baby. We let him know that we are keeping Prestyn.

He said "oh, well I want a girl baby"

Do you see him?? We were shopping at Old Navy and Cayden was standing looking at the manequins, I told him to say hi, he did and then laughed. I asked him if he'd like his picture taken with them and he said "yes", climbed up, looked at the girl & said "hi"! I was about rolling it made me laugh so hard! Silly boy!

Underwater World

Today we went to the Mall of America and IKEA. We took the kids to Underwater world. It was really cool and Cayden LOVED it! Cayden was not to sure about the "tunnel" part, but he enjoyed it.

They had a new seahorse exhibit...they are so stinking cute!

Cayden did NOT want to stand next to this guy, Justyn had to explain to him that he wasn't real.

Prestyn fussing about something....just had to post this picture because it is SOOO him and his personality! Stinky boy!

We had fun shopping at IKEA after this and then had a wonderfully relaxing evening hanging out at Shayne & Anna's!

Go TWINS!

Today we had a relaxing morning (mmmm coffee) and then we wen to a Minnesota Twins game with Shayne and Anna - I can't believe I don't have a picture of them from this day...ugh. Here is our family before the game started.

Watching the game...well he was until the camera came out.

Prestyn was sooo excited when the mascot drove out on the field on a four wheeler, he was yelling "tractor" and pointing! It was hilarious.

Snapped a pic of the field as we were leaving, we lasted until the bottom of the 6th...Prestyn was NOT happy!! But we had a good time and a great experience.

back to MN and the zoo!

Today we drove back to Minnesota. Here are the boys, bright and early ready for another road trip.

I just have to say, thank heavens for the DVD player, naps and this doodle board. Cayden & I used it ALOT! We practiced our letters & numbers and even words. I had to take a picture of this one, it was so cute! He LOVES to "play school" and learn.

Here are the boys at the Minnesota Zoo. It was amazing and we had alot of fun. We have a year pass to the ND zoo which got us in free to the MN zoo! (makes it even better in my book).

Our family! It was getting sooo hot out & we were about to book it to the van and head to Uncle Shayne & Auntie Anna's place.

Later in the evening we went to the park by Shayne & Anna's and played at the park. Cayden loved climbing the rock wall.

Prestyn didn't want to leave the sandbox...as you can see it was HOT out.

Shayne and Justyn....I'm assuming it was fantasy football time???
