Wall Christmas

We had our Wall family Christmas the day after Thanksgiving. Sadly Uncle Ryan and Auntie Laura couldn't join us. :(

The kids were wild and crazy in anticipation of opening all their presents, but first we had to torture them with a group picture. Seems like only yesterday we took Cayden and Charlie & Hope to Walmart for a "professional" cousins picture. I can't even imagine getting these 6 to cooperate for a picture these days. They sure are cute though...and silly to boot.

We had a great Christmas together other than Grammie being sick. I'm so thankful for our family and the time we get to spend together!

Thanksgiving!

I hosted Thanksgiving this year! It was so much fun! We had 29 people. The food was great and we had alot of fun! Just a couple shots of the kids chowing down.

WHOOHOO - I finally have my piano in my house!!! At Thanksgiving my parents brought my childhood piano to our house. It is a huge upright piano. I believe my mom got it from an aunt of hers who bought it for $5 at an auction sale. Mom & Dad had it refinished by our Pastor growing up. (Pastor Korns) and it is beautiful. I love this piano.

Here are the guys moving it in Thanks to Kerry & Curt for coming to help and for Dad being so smart and building a "ramp" for the stairs, I'm sure it helped out the guys' backs!!

Well here he/she is. Not the best u/s pics, but since the baby is only about 4 inches long and about 2 oz, I'm not surprised. This is the baby's back, left side is head right side it butt. :)

13 week OB visit

We had our 13 week dr's appointment today. I ended up taking Prestyn in with me because he is kind of croupy and has a cold. The dr told me to just keep him hydrated and do a warm bath, then bundle him up & take him out into the cold to help open up his airways.

I've gained a pound, and am measuring right on. She tried to find the baby's heartbeat with the little wand on my belly, and the baby was hiding, so she had them wheel in the ultrasound machine since the lady was there that does it.

She put the wand on my belly and the baby just just flip-flopping all over the place. Little wild baby.....must be a sign of things to come. Stubborn and wild?!?!

Anywhoo, the heartbeat was 160 and baby is measuring right on track. :) Praise the Lord.

We are very excited for this baby and it was so nice to get a little peak at him/her. Justyn ended up running to the clinic for the u/s so he got to see the baby too. Prestyn kept saying "baby, baby"!

The gal who did the u/s is burning the pics to a disc for me & sending them to Justyn at work, so I'll have a glimpse of our sweet new baby for you all soon!! YAY for a strong healthy heartbeat. One more thing to my list of things I'm so extremely thankful for!

I guess it's a girl baby!

Cayden's sunday school teacher caught me before church this morning to show me his craft project he did. The lesson was about how Jesus is a sheperd and we are like His sheep. They were to put a sheep on for each of their family members. He made sure she labelled all the sheep appropriately....
I guess we're having a baby girl....silly sweet boy!!!

KENDRA IS COMING!!

I'm so excited! Tomorrow the boys & I get to go to Bismarck and pick up our friend Kendra. She's in ND for a week catching up with friends and we get to have her for a couple of days! I'm so excited!!!! Can't wait to see her pregnant!!! WHOOHOO!
