31st Annual Turtle Days 2012

The beautiful Heather & I headed to the parade!

 Da Hubbs & I!

 Then we realized we needed to register the turtles (or we wanted to do it as early as possible to hopefully get an early head)

There goes the man with our turtles.

 Sis was SOOOO excited when Papa showed up at "our spot" for the parade! Made her one happy little lady!

 Hoping to get lots of candy!

 After the parade we went & checked out the Kiddie Carnival.

Prestyn ROCKED at the bean bag toss.

 Cayden ROCKED at ALL of the games!

 Then we headed over to check out the "bounce houses"

Sidney loved the ball pit.

 Prestyn & Cayden loved the bigger open jumping one.

 Our big boy - keep'n busy!

 Time for lunch at Nana's & some cool down & then off to the Turtle Races.

 So excited!

 Where all the action happens!

 They even do the National Anthem!  Such a serious event!

 Miss Rodeo ND Sadie Wardner announced the event!

 It got hot for awhile so the boys got these cool neck/head things that are gel & when you put them in water they puff up & keep you cool. SO NEAT.

Leave it to these 2 to become Ninja's once they wear them!

 FINALLY, it was our heat!  All three of our turtle were in together.  So we had a 3 in 8 chance of placing in our heat (top 2 went on)

 Here's McQueen (Prestyn's turtle) crossing the finish line in 2nd place!  He moved on to the 2nd heat.

He tried hard, but didn't make it beyond that!

Good job McQueen.

 After the races we went back to Nana's to cool off.

Sidney wasn't sure what she should do? Go  in the pool? or just chill?

 She decided on the pool

 Took a quick break to check on the guys at Grandma Geigle's house.

These 3 are such goofs.

 Sidney LOVED the cow!

 Back to Nana's to hang out!

 This is how Kole & Sidney spent alot of the afternoon!

Kole is so awesome with Sidney & humors her.

I think I have mostly videos of them, it was so cute.  They walk down the sidewalk together chatting, then turn around & walk back, go see Maggie & do it all over again. OVER & OVER again!

Then Kole was on his phone pacing the driveway & Sidney walked behind him with her hand up to her ear like a phone & pretended to talk to someone.

For a 12 year old to take the time to hang out with her 2 year old cousin is pretty awesome!

THANKS KOLE for being so sweet to Sidney! She loves you!!

 Cayden & Beau were doing THIS the entire afternoon.  They were so fast I couldn't even catch Beau!
