I boiled 2 pots of water with a squirt of dawn:
Then I put 3 prefolds into each pot & boiled them for 20 minutes. I had to stir them occasionally and press them back down into the water:
When they were done boiling I wrung them out with a pair of tongs on the side of the pot (notice my sweet little man watching the action):
I put them into a laundry basket lined with a towel to absorb some of the moisture:
Then I did round 2. This is how much smaller they were after boiling:

And then I had to wash them 2x's in the machine on hot & dry on hot, here's the finished product:
At this point I realized I ordered the wrong size, UGH, but hey, at least I have some diapers for whenever we have another baby! LOL
Really?? you have to boil them first??!! I didn't know that!!

You could always let your nephew use them before your next newbaby comes....unless, that is, your trying to tell us something....LOL!!!!
Steph, no you won't have to do this on the ones I already gave you, just if you buy brand new ones that have not been prepped. I will definately let you use these if you plan to do PF's on the new LO. Just let me know. We don't plan on needing them for AT LEAST another year! WINK
