Happy Valentines Day!!

We were invited to a valentines party at the Gymnastics Club.

It was so much fun.

We've been cooped up inside so much lately it was so fun to jump & run around!

The kids are all 3 sleeping now = BLISS!

We brought these yummy cupcakes to share with our friends at the party!

They are vanilla with raspberry buttercream frosting! YUM

nothing seems adequate!

Sidney was just waking from her nap & Justyn told me to grab my camera & come peek at her.

This is how I found her!

Do you ever have one of those days?

You know the one, where all you can do it laugh, otherwise you might just cry?

Well this day wasn't THAT bad, but I seriously just had to giggle when THIS happened:

The boys wanted peanut butter & jelly toast for lunch.

One of their new chores is helping set the table (usually with empty plates).

Well Cayden wanted sooo badly to carry his plate to the table

WITH the PB&J toast ON his plate.

He rounded the corner & WHOOPS,

only 1 piece left on the plate
(do you notice how delighted he is in this picture?)

It's probably because THIS happened to his little brother

(who also seemed rather pleased, jelly & peanut butter on his face & all)

But I think this made them giggle even more...and the fact that I said "wait, don't move"
and grabbed my camera all while laughing.
They thought it was so funny.



DISCLAIMER: nobody ate the falled toast, i hadn't swept that day & who knows what extra protien they would have accumulated.

My 30th Birthday - part 2

I got these beautiful flowers from our amazing neighbors! Thanks Kim & Charlie!

I'm not going into all the details, but after a day of Justyn being wierd, sneaky & texting alot. I thought my surprise was an early dinner with some of our close friends before our girls night.

We had dinner & the guys got their coats on & left.

Then some of the girls started showing up.

Heather brought me this awesome gift of 30 bags of 30 things. Some included 30 tropical skittles (in case I felt the need for some tropics), 30 pieces of her hair 1) if I ever wanted to know what it was like to be blonde 2) if I ever needed her DNA, 30 REAL rabbit turds (courtesy of Kole) who thinks I'm a turd! Totally made me giggle - as you can see in the picture.

After the picture we were gonna head to the bar, Lorisa said, lets go the other way. I was like "what is your deal" but whatever.

And I came in to ALL the husbands & decorations, cupcakes etc!

I was totally surprised!!

Justyn had to do a goofy birthday toast, pretty sure it had something to do with being OLD.

He did the decorations on one of his sneakings off during the day!

I feel so blessed to have such a wonderful bunch of friends.

It's been a great week with Grammie & Papa here, they even got me a special treat at lunch the other day & embarassed me by singing Happy Birthday (#30). It was sweet.

Today has been wonderful as well.

A sweet card from the kids.

A special Caramel Macciato from the hubbs.

Bible Study with some amazing friends.

Lunch out with my family.

A dilly bar.

We'll see what the rest of the day has in store.

Let me just tell you.....life doesn't get much better than this! I feel so blessed.

The boys keep finding this Barbie, whom I keep hiding because they make a big deal out of her. I bought her at a rummage sale a long time ago so we'd have a couple girlie toys when kids came over, the problem is, she had no clothes.

I had no girls, so it's the last thing from my mind to buy Barbie a dress to wear.

Well they found her the other day & Prestyn picked her up & said to Cayden "Look Cayden, she got boo boos" (as he's giggling & checking her out)

I sprung into action, Sidney's socks were mismatched & kept falling off & the one looked like it'd be the perfect size for a dress for Barbie.

So I cut the toe of her sock off & put Barbie's new "sweater dress" on her.

Yes, Sidney did get matching socks put back on & YES, the dress is still on Barbie. I haven't heard anymore boobie comments at this point.
