Sacked out!

This is what a day of fresh air, running & playing with the cousins all day does to my 3 big kids.  

Notice Preston's setup, he's laying on top of 4 pillows! What a goof! 

Another day!

I swear baby girl loves the farm. She's been going to sleep around 9:30 or 10pm & sleeping until 6 or 8am. What a DREAM!

This morning I was able to get a short run in, then spent the rest of the morning working with Papa & Charlie moving cows, branding & sorting cows/calves, etc. 

Little miss Aubbie took a nice big nap so I could help the guys. 

Cayden, Prestyn & Sidney spent the morning playing with the baby kittens. 

Another great day on the farm. Potential Bon fire tonight if its sprinkly out!

Check out this calf....his eyelashes go for miles. I had to comfort him during his branding & remind him that his mama would give him "milkies" soon. I'm pretty sure Papa was rolling his eyes at me at that point. 

We found the kitties!

Sidney & I went out for a walk yesterday am. We decided to check out the barn & see if there were any kittens.

We walked in & were very quiet & listened if we could hear them. 

We had walked through most of it, when we were turning to leave & we heard the first little "meow"!

Sure enough, 4 adorable baby kitties!

Sid loved them!

Then we went & found the boys & told them we had a surprise for them. 

We've made several more trips out there to visit the kitties & are hoping to keep them tame! 

Cleaning up!

The boys & I went to work today getting the south east alley way cleans of tree branches & dead trees.

I got to drive the tractor. After a quick refesher course from Papa, I was set to go!

I was so proud of myself when I managed to reach the bucket OVER the fence & pick up 2 huge dead tree branches & load them up!  I'm a nerd, I know. 

The boys worked hard loading up.  At one point I heard Cayden tell Prestyn how "farmers work hard so they can eat lunch" 

Love the thought process going on here! :)

Sidney: when I was a baby I drank milk from mama's booboo's

Sidney: Cayden....you & Prestyn drank milk from mama's booboo's too!

Cayden: (giggles)

Sidney: those marks are from you, ya know? 

Caden: yeah, on mama's belly...oh hey mom, did they cut me out?? 

I love them! Haha

National running day!

It's National Running Day & I managed to get my run in! Was during the most beautiful sunset too!

Grammie looks a little tormented...might have been to long of a day for her with me & the herd. Lol!
