cleanup?

So I guess "clean up the toys" means:
throw them all in a heaping pile in the corner where mom can't see them!!
Little stinks.

Things are getting FISHY!

We have a new plan.....FISH at least 1x per week.
Now I just need to find more recipes!!

The kids all LOVE fish, especially Cayden.  He got to help Justyn make our fish the other night!
It was fun to watch them work together.

FAVORITES!

MY FAVORITE PICTURE FROM CHRISTMAS!
I don't think they could be any cuter!!

Enjoying the snow!

The kids in the snow!

LOVE all these sweet faces.....
especially when they've had a bunch of fresh air!! LOL

Prestyn & his shenanigans

Okay - so I'm not even sure how to spell shenanigans.
Just have to share the OCD'ness that is Prestyn.
He is the silliest kid.
He has certain things that are VERY special to him.
His matchbox cars are one of them.  They are ALL (of almost all) in a red LEGO box & if he even hears them move, he is right next to the box (making sure Sidney doesn't touch them -etc)
Well, his latest thing is army guys.
He asked for them for Christmas, and I think he got them from EVERYONE!  (THANK YOU)

Well, every day I find them lined up somewhere together.  The following is for your viewing pleasure.
Keeping guard on the couch:
At war on the coffee table.
(He would check back regularily & if any were tipped over he'd come set them back up)
The army guys all going for a ride, not sure where.
 More guys going somewhere.
Here they all are loaded in the back of the trucks.
If they are laying down, they are generally ALL on their backs or ALL on the fronts.
Plus, they are usually all facing the same direction.
 They get lined up.
Sometimes they even get their guns, and if ONE of them is missing a gun, NONE can have a gun.
THIS little cuties is the man behind it all!
I LOVE HIM!!

DATE NIGHT!!

We have some AWESOME friends
(thank you Lorisa & Terry) who kept all 3 of our children over night.
What were we to do?
This doesn't happen alot, but we had the perfect night.
We went out for dinner & drinks at the grandview, then went & rented some redbox movies.
Came home & put on our comphy clothes, cranked up the volume on the TV & snuggled while we watched our NON animated, NO cartoon charachter movies!

It was perfect!
I love this man!

Christmas Programs

Getting ready for church & of course had to get a pic of these 3 cuties together.

 One with Papa & Grammie!
 And one of our family!
Prestyn & Sidney got to play some instruments with their preschool class for the church Christmas program.  They did a good job, well kind of.  Sidney sat & played her bells.  Prestyn was embarassed so he laid on his back & kicked his feet in the air.  LOL
Someday......Prestyn will thank me for this!!

Cayden was a cow in the church program & sang so nicely.
Then we went to Cayden's Kindergarten Christmas program.  Papa & Grammie stayed & came with us & Auntie Heather came to watch too!
 The whole crew.  2 classes.

Cayden did a great job saying his part too!  It was so fun to watch all the kids say their lines & sing.  What a difference 1 year makes!!
