New Years Eve

We had a nice New Years Eve at the farm. We snacked on a bunch of goodies & just hung out & played games. It was a good evening.
Once again - Hopey was giving Sidney so much love! (she also gave her all her special crochet'd dresses that her mama made HER when SHE was a baby for Sidney to wear) I'll post pics as she wears them.
The epic Photobomb.
While Auntie Laura & Sidney are posing so nicely for a picture.

Uncle Ryan was a hit as far as Sidney was concerned. She was always giving him the eye.

Sidney is a girl after her daddy's heart....she wanted to steal my chocolate.

So I let her have a taste.
She liked it.

The end.

Christmas (New Year) at the farm

We spent our New Years weekend at my parents farm/ranch in Montana.
We were so glad to arrive & have a long weekend with all the family.
Sidney was busy practicing her sitting skills - as well as clapping her hands!
She's getting so big.
The cousins were all wound up so to quiet them down for bedtime we played a little "duck, duck, goose" (not sure that really wound them down) So Grammie finished them off with a book!!
All the cousins together!
Sidney (7 months) Anthony (18 months) Prestyn (2)
Alexander (3) Cayden (4) Hope (6) Charlie (12)
Needless to say, there wasn't much quiet time at Papa & Grammies!

Check out these cuties!!

This was when the 5 middles (Charlie is too cool for singing & Sidney is too little) decided they were going to put on a concert for us & sang us the "ABC's" and "Jesus Loves Me"

I did get it on video, I just need to figure out how to add it on here.

Prestyn wanted me to take his picture.

Hope is such a little mommy, she was constantly coming & taking Sidney & loving on her & mothering her. It was sweet!!
Anthony & the Sidster got to know each other. Every time Anthony would come near her she's just cheese & giggle. They'll have ALOT of fun together next time they see each other.

These 2 little men, aren't they adroable.
Looks like they're up to something..
hmmm.

"I STUCK"

I'm pretty sure if Sidney could talk she'd have said "I stuck mommy"
*
*
*
*
She's rolling everywhere these days, and getting stuck too.
It's too cute to not take pictures of!!
I love my little lady!

what happens when we take pictures

I've had a few friends comment saying "How do you get a good picture of all 3 kids together"
*
*
*
No special trick, sometimes I'm just stubborn & take about 30 pictures....all to get 1 good one.
*
*
*
*
*
*
See examples below....in every pictures at least ONE of the THREE is looking somewhere else/eyes closed/being a goober etc.
Exhibit 1) Cayden's head tilt/wierd hand pose.

Exhibit 2) Cayden = squinty eyes, Sidney = looking away, Prestyn = eyes closed
Exhibit 3) All 3 being goofs
Exhibit 4) Not too bad - minus Cayden's tight lipped mouth. I think Prestyn's smirk is pretty funny

All for THIS:

An ADORABLE shot of my 3 little loves - (notice one is still looking away)
I concede and call this the shot & laugh at the 30 others that were silly.

CHRISTMAS!

We had a wonderful Christmas this year.
*
Cayden got some special gifts from Santa because he's been staying dry at night. We emailed Santa a letter on Christmas Eve telling him that he's been staying dry at night. On Christmas morning, Cayden found a super fun game (Jenga) and some new transformer underwear on his dresser with a note from Santa. He was CHEESED.
*
Then this is what the kids woke up to.
Sidney LOVED her new pootsie pack.

The boys each got some extra trains for their new train set.

And of course some candy in the stockings.

Daddy read the real Christmas story to the kids before they got to open their presents.

Sidney loved her knew doll, we're thinking her name is Penelope, but Stella is still in the running. We'll see what Sidney decides, for now she's just called "baby".
She even tore into the wrapping a little bit!!

Prestyn has been rock'n out on his new guitar, they can offically have a rock band now!

Cayden LOVES his new big nerf gun!

Tear'n it up!
We had the Klatts all over for lunch on Christmas Day. Nana & Papa came, Unlce Ryan, Uncle Kerry, Auntie Heather, Kole (who wasn't feeling well) and Beau.
It was such a wonderful day!

3 generations!

And of course some Nana & Papa love for the little lady!
We missed the rest of our families who were far away & celebrating on their own!!

Christmas Eve

We had an interesting Christmas this year.
With a nasty flu bug leading us into the weekend.
I got it on Wednesday night/am. Cayden got it Thursday night/am.
Then Justyn had a mini version on Christmas Eve.
Needless to say, we had to miss the Christmas Eve candlelight service
(which was a total bummer).
But we still managed to have some fun, and on Christmas Eve let the kids each open a present (which ended up being the Wii and come extra controllers etc)
Aren't they festive!!

sweet neighbor

We have the best neighbors EVER! (yes, I yelled, they are that awesome) We are surrounded by wonderful neighbors, they plow our driveway when we are gone, (or when I'm home alone with the kids), they are always friendly & come over to visit. They love the kids and humor them & their shenanagans.

and Kim, she lives next door. The kids have kind of "adopted" her as their fill in Grandma. When we're in the backyard playing & she comes out, they run to the fence to tell her stories & see what she's up to. She's always chats with them & listens & even comes over to play sometimes. It's hard in the winter though since we don't go outside as much, it feels like we don't really get to see her.

We love her.

She has even babysat for us a few times & the boys just go bonkers knowing she's coming.

Anywho, this last week we all battled the flu, and on Thursday morning (flu hangover for me) there was a knock at the door, so I went to answer it & there stood Kim, with a fruit basket & a Christmas puppy for Sidney (which according to Kim was because "she can't eat the fruit") It totally made our day. I'm just so thankful that we've been blessed with wonderful caring neighbors!!

Oh & the fruit was super yummy too!!
