THE FARM!

The sign as you pull onto the driveway to the Bison Ranch.
Love the bright blue Montana sky.
A buffalo sits atop the mailbox.
miles of green and blue with specks of clouds
BLISS

TONS & TONS of bales

One of my little men riding 4-wheeler with me!
FUN

Love'n farm life.
and waiting patiently for his turn in the swather with Papa

You know your in Montana when you ask where to find the guys and are told "by THE tree"

We had a little part of our farm time that wasn't so fun.
Prestyn burned his hand on the BBQ grill. :(
Poor boy. He cried for a LONG time, and there wasn't much I could do,
other than comfort him & snuggle him.

The burn looked so painful, but he played well & was happy, so I made sure to just keep it extra clean.

He survived and managed to get some sleep that night.
Then we went for a playdate with some friends.
Cayden was reunited with his buddy Alexa once again
& even got to spend time with Aubri (who he hasn't seen in almost 2 years)
They had so much fun!

Grammie set up the spinkler for the boys to run through so we had to do a mini photo shoot with all them in their suits.

The kids all fell in love with Terri ~ she is so good with them.
I had Prestyn wear gloves to bed to keep the bandage on his burn.
I can't leave the litte miss out of the picture. Here she is!!

Heading to the FARM!!!

I got brave & tried my first adventure to the Farm ALONE with my 3 kids!!
Justyn was off in Minnesota for a boys weekend with his brothers so I thought "why not" I'll give it a go.
THE KIDS DID GREAT!
*
We stopped in to visit my sister & her kidlets on the way.
Charlie is such a snuggle bug & LOVED holding miss Sidney.
Hope is a little Mommy, & barely left my side -she was so anxious to get her grubs on Sidney. She didn't want to put her down. Aren't they BEAUTIFUL!!?
The 3 middle boys were WILD and crazy and having a ball.

I realize I'm missing Mr. Anthony ~ he's such a sweet little chubbs!!
*
After the visit with my sister we went on to visit some other friends on the way.
Miss Ava & Miss Sidney got to hang out for a bit.

And so did Aydan, Cayden & Prestyn.

We made it to the farm & the kids travelled really well, UNTIL we headed NORTH to the farm. I knew I was in the country when they (the boys) were getting roudy & I stopped dead in the middle of the road & just laid on the horn.
They were SILENT the rest of the drive.
*
Auntie Laura was SO excited to meet Sidney, and of course Sidney loved her & smiled right away.
Uncle Ryan came in to get some snuggles in too!!

this is what you get....

.......
when you are always the one BEHIND the camera & attempt to get a picture of yourself with ALL 3 OF YOUR CHILDREN at one time.
Prestyn thinks he needs to sip his milk
Cayden is googling over Sidney
Sidney is ANNOYED & just wants to be left alone
and MOM is smiling like a dufus.

milk, choke holding, screaming & dufus smile
Well I guess it it was it is!!
I love my kids!!

TURTLE DAYS 2010

We went to Turtle Lake for Turtle Days. It was HOT!!! Nana was so prepared & had a pool ready to go for the kids. They loved it, but once the big boys got too hot & decided it was time for a full on water fight/wresting match - her pool didn't last too long.

Thank goodness for an open store & an awesome Nana who ran downtown to pick up a new one.
Cayden thought he needed to wear his goggles for the waterfight. Nice ears huh?
Prestyn needed to be SENSORED!

On Saturday we walked downtown to watch the parade.
The boys thought they were so cool in their shade.

Waiting patiently for it all to start.
Chance is ever the poser!!
After the parade we went home & cooled off for awhile & had lunch. Then we headed back downtown to watch the soap box races (I think that's what they are called)
We were lucky to find a spot in the shade.
The boys were trying to cool off in the wagon.

After more fun in the water Nana came home and got some snuggles in with Miss Sidney.

Cousin Brian had a turtle he had enter into the races, and the boys set up a new "race track" for him to practice on.

Prestyn kept saying "mon, mommy, turtle BITE CHEW"
He was actually quite fast.

See, I could barely catch him on camera.

It was a great weekend, but went by all to fast as usual.

Sidney's baby shower

Our church threw a baby shower for Miss Sidney. It was a "beach baby" theme.
The centerpieces were buckets of sand with shovels in them & a beach towel.

They served banana splits - YUMMO!

We played a "Name that price" game with beach themed things like sunscreen and swim diapers, and a game where we all stood in a circle & threw a beach ball to each other - the beach ball had all kinds of beach related questions on it like "have you ever wore a yellow polka dot bikini" and you had to anwswer before passing it on.

And Sidney was spoiled ROTTEN and got way too much clothes, she'll have to change about 14 times a day just to wear it all.
It was an awesome shower - I'm so thankful to all my friends who came to celebrate Sidney's birth with us!
THANK YOU!!

Just keep'n the grandma's happy

And anyone else who wants to see our little miss.

She's getting so big already, but LOVES to snuggle.

She is over-all a pretty content baby and gets lots of hugs & kisses from her brothers.

It's hard to believe Sidney is 5 weeks old already.
