The Fair

The Fair is in town.
We went this afternoon to watch Beau show his chicken.
He did a great job. This little man has certainly found his love.
We're so proud of him!!

We went home & cooled off for awhile before heading back. We met up with our friends Terry, Lorisa & Kael. The boys were so excited to get to ride rides together.

Sidney was kinda ticked for awhile by the heat, but once it cooled down a bit she was happy.

Justyn had the luxery of riding some of the kiddie rides with the boys!!

He won't admit it but he secretly LOVES riding these rides.
Especially the ones that go HIGH up in the air!
right hun?

More of the 3 boys riding rides.

They were all cheesed to ride the "choo-choo" and even more excited to get the caboose. Well after 1.5 rounds it "derailed" so they had to get off. BUMMER

What awesome men we have riding the rides with the kids. Seriously...these 2 men are amazing. They wrangled the boys all evening and rode rides, bought treats.

It was fun!

See...don't the big guys look excited??

Come on Terry - I know you wanted to smile.
All in all the fair rides were a huge hit, nobody got sick, and we are SO THANKFUL for wonderful friends.

Thanks Terry & Lorisa!

THE BOYS!

The boys had a water fight last night. Cayden got Daddy soaked, so he (daddy) decided to plop down in the kiddie pool with the boys! They thought it was so cool to have daddy hang out in the water with them. However, it's looking like we might need to "upgrade" the pool if this continues....

WORDLESS WEDNESDAY (the shirt says it all)

Our kids!

Well I have to say the boys are pretty in love with their new sister.
The biggest adjustment at this point has been to them fighting over who gets to hold her first and the constant kisses and head rubs she gets from them both.
They (so far) are very gentle with her and love on her whenever they can.
If she's on the floor, they want to be right there snuggled up next to her.
This one is from Church on Sunday

And this is from Saturday after our Airplane day.

I love seeing the 3 of them together!

AIRPLANES!!

First off I just have to say -
~I MADE IT OUT OF THE HOUSE WITH 3 KIDS BY MYSELF!!~
(and it was before 9:30am) whoot whoot

We went to the Beulah airport this morning to see the airplanes. It was the "Fly In" (i think that's what it was called) and they had all sorts of airplanes. They also served a free pancake breakfast - which we took advantage of. The boys both thought it was great.
This guy was flying this huge "toy" airplane. The kids thought it was great.

We ran into a bunch of friends while there so I had to grab a picture. Check out all these adorable boys! Regan was a little outnumbered - guess I should have put Sidney in there with her. :)

Prestyn thought the airplanes were cool "look, mommy, up sky" :)

Cayden was beyond thrilled to be there too & BEGGED to get a ride in an airplane. "REALLY?" I asked Cayden, "are you sure you won't cry & be scared - mommy won't be in there with you" Cayden told me "No, I won't cry, can I go mom??" So I went & asked the lady how old they had to be and she told me as long as they will go without a parent they could go (NOT the answer I was looking for - he's only 4) So I went to Cayden and again said "are you sure?? I won't be there with you & they can't just come back down if you get scared" and he started jumping up & down "yes, I want to go, can I go please??" So I went & put his name on the list....eek.

Sidney was with me on this one - she was already praying for Cayden's flight and that it would be safe & he would land back on dry land safe & sound. (she slept through almost the entire morning)

When they came & told us it was his turn he took off running after the lady to go get on the plane - meanwhile yelling back to me how exciting this all was.

Here he is waiting to get in the plane (I'm about to freak out - waiting for him to cry & say he doesn't want to go anymore...you know...because he's still my baby & he couldn't possibly want to go in a plane without me by his side - right?)

WRONG - He climbed right in & let the lady buckle him in. Then when I popped my head in to take his picture he told me "Mom, this is so exciting" (CRY)

Doesn't look one bit scared to me....what a brave boy!

TOTAL CHEESE HEAD = CAYDEN

Peek'n out to wave at me!!

and some more waving - he went up with our friend Carter and his friend Noah who we just met today! :)

getting ready to go

after having just landed

He made it back safe & sound, he said they got to see the lake, daddy's work & our house (i'm not sure about our house - but I believe him on the rest) He said they even turned to the side and it was "so cool"

I can't believe my BABY Cayden is growing up and wanting to do these "big boy" things all on his own. I was so proud of him!!

Oh & my friend Heather was awesome helping me with the kids and took Cayden to the bathroom before the flight (you never know) and she said he told her that he wasn't going to be a girl. She asked him why? what do you mean? and he told her that when they flip over & hit their head he wouldn't cry. :) teehee funny boy.
