Cayden's 4th Birthday!

Cayden had a great 4th birthday!
We took cupcakes with the number 4 on them for his class at sunday school.
For supper we ordered pizza and wings and after that we had cupcakes and ice cream!! YUM!
His candle even sang happy birthday!

After supper we had him open his presents.
Here they are when daddy brought them out! So excited!

He ripped right into the present.

Cayden was so sweet to "share" them with Prestyn and made sure we all got to see what he got.

He had a wonderful birthday!
We love you Cayden.

Happy 4th Birthday Cayden Lane!

4 years ago forever changed our lives.
On that day we celebrated the addition of Cayden Lane to our family!
He has been such a blessing in our lives and such a fun little man.
It's hard to believe my "baby" turns 4 today.
Here he is fresh & new in the hospital.
Our little bubbs.

Heading home from the hosptial.

Definately a gift from God!!

So handsome!!

And look what we have now.
This amazing 4 year old who wants to do everything himself.
He loves to be outside, as long as the trees aren't moving he thinks that's where he needs to be. He loves helping, weather it be hanging up a coat, mixing pancake batter, pushing the chairs in, putting toys away etc, he is a very joyful helper.
Cayden loves to read books, write, drive tractors and ride his bike, he also loves to tease his little brother, and is VERY excited to have a new girl baby!

It's hard to believe our baby will be going to preschool this fall.
We love you Cayden, and hope you have a wonderful birthday! Thanks for being such a great little man.

Thank you Lord, for blessing us with a healthy, handsome little boy!!

almost 36 week OB appointment

I had my almost 36 week OB check yesterday. They did the group B strep test, and all the other "normal" stuff. I'm measuring 37 1/2 weeks, baby's hb was 130's - 140's, nothing changing
"down there" so it looks like she'll stay put for awhile longer!

I go back May 13th for my 38 week check and to set up our birth plan at the hospital. Its hard to believe we're getting this close!!! YAY!

I'll work on getting a 36 week belly pic up this weekend.

WE WENT FISHING!

We took the kids out fishing at the kiddie pond in Riverdale today.
It was a little chilly with the wind, but at least the sun was shining.
We used corn and hot dogs for bait.
Prestyn just wanted to throw in every rock and stick he could find.

One of the 3 million sticks Prestyn threw into the pond.

Finally I got him distracted (only for about 2 minutes) with a bucket & shovel.
The same shovel then ended up IN the pond.
(thanks to Daddy for "fishing" it back out)

Me and the Hubbs!!

Cayden was so happy to get to go fishing.
He couldn't even take a nap today he was so excited to go fishing.
Once that "yellow" pole was in his hands - he was HAPPY!!

Cayden got a bite!!!

Do you see it - it's actually kinda big?

Our little man - reel'n in a fish!!

Holy Smokes - Cayden really caught a fish!! I was squeeling with delight right now.
(probably because I knew I wouldn't have to actually touch it) teehee

Check out Cayden's cheese face! He was so proud!
Prestyn was saying "hold you", "hold you"

MY BOYS!!
So proud of our little man catching a big ole fish on his teeny little pole!!

He even jumped off the hook.

Oh man, we have to throw him back?
The boys were so excited to have actually caught a fish.
The whole drive home Cayden kept asking Prestyn "did you see that fish I caught"
"it was big huh?"
I'm pretty sure EVERYONE we see for the next few days will be hearing our fishing story!

We had a fun afternoon!!
I'm sure these boys will be sleeping hard tonight after all that fresh air & fun!

A visit with FarmChick

We got to head out to the "farm" this morning to visit FarmChick aka Auntie Heather and see the new baby chicks that had just hatched. My boys were so excited.
Here they are with Beau taking a peek.
Prestyn thought they were great, and kept saying "hi" to them.

But pretty soon he was being beckoned by Spencer to come say hi to him & Red.

So Auntie took the boys in to greet the horses. They were both very friendly.

Red is a big ole horse and so sweet!!

And Spencer LOVED the attention and getting HUGS!!

Of course we also had to peek at the bunnies! Prestyn just had a ball, he kept telling all the animals "hi". By this time Cayden had disappeared with Beau up in the tree fort.

Thanks for having us out to see the babies & horses Heather!
My boys LOVED it.
