My heart is breaking right now for a friend.

~They are growing up~

Can someone PLEASE tell me where my babies went??

Cayden will be 4 in May!! He asks all the time when his birthday is & when he'll get to go to school. He loves to play games, and he also loves to wrestle with daddy and Prestyn. He thinks he's tough stuff when they play football, and always manages to sneak around daddy to get a touchdown.

He's all boy, and loves to play farm with all his tractors, barn, fences set up & animals to feed. He could play farm for hours, and his name when he plays is usually "Bob" or "Jim" or "Louis", and in some magical way his voice always changes when he's a farmer! It's so funny.

Cayden also loves to help me with EVERYTHING. It could be as small as moving the chairs away from the table so I can sweep, picking up all the toys before I vacuum them up, or dumping in the ingredients to something special we're making. He loves to help, and he loves to know when he's done a great job!! I love this little man.

Prestyn is 18 months old now and he climbs on EVERYTHING. He can now climb onto the kitchen chairs on his own, and the couch (and sometimes all the way up the back). He's always busy doing something. He's such a little man. He loves his matchbox cars and is always getting out his favorite ones and lining them up. He's so fun to watch as he learns, watching the tires turn and the cars move.

He's also had a vocabulary explosion and can say about anything we ask him to. He just started saying "CAYDEN" clearly and also has been really pronunciating his words like "mouse" and "teeth" He's so cute when he talks. He loves when we ask him the sounds that animals make.

Prestyn also loves when we sing songs. We've been able to just whistle "if your happy and you know it" and he starts clapping his hands & stomping his feet. I'm in love with this little man.

These boys are just growing up so fast, and changing every day. They both love when we sing songs, play games or just sit and play duck, duck goose.

They are both sleeping downstairs now. Each in their own room & in big boy beds. Prestyn thinks he's hot stuff when he lays down & we all pray together! Cayden thinks he's pretty special to get the BIG bed all to himself, and he even got to pick the color for his walls, so he thinks his room is very special.

My heart is so full of love for these little men, I can't believe that in a few short months we'll have a little princess in the mix. God has been so good to us. We've been blessed with 2 healthy little boys, and a healthy pregnancy. I'm so thankful for all the little things that make our life complete. I'm thankful for a fabulous husband who does more than I could ever explain. He's amazing. Sometimes I just need to sit back and look at our complete picture and know that GOD is in control and that we are so blessed.

23 weeks

23 week bellah picture for you vultures!! :)

We had our 23 week OB appointment today. All is good.

Baby's hb was 142, she kept kicking the doppler while the dr was listening to her hearbeat. I'm measuring right on track. I go back in 4 weeks for my 28 week check and GD testing - YIPPEE, hoping for more boring appointments! :)

I've been in girl mode lately, so I had to give the boys some love.....I ADORE THIS ONE!!!

You HAVE to make these cookies!

Oh my soul - I made these cookies last night and they are INCREDIBLE!! You simply have to make them, and they are easy too!!

Rick's Chocolate Chip Cookies:

1 cup shortening
1 cup white sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp vanilla
2 cups flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1 cup chocolate chips
(nuts optional)
I added about 1/2 cup butterscotch chips too.

Mix well and bake at 350 until desired color. About 15-20 minutes. I used the large Pampered Chef scoop and over filled it, rolled into balls and smooshed down just a bit... they are BIG, YUMMY and in the favorites book for our house!
