Happy Day!!

YAY! I'm so excited, my friend Melinda from MT is coming to visit today with her 2 boys! I've been looking forward to getting together with her again! We lived in the same town in MT for almost a year and she is a wonderful friend. Her boys are so cute too! I can't wait to see them! And Cayden is so excited to play with Addison and see the new baby Aydan!!

Off to finish some laundry & pick up before she gets here!!!

SUNSHINE!!

I love this sunshine! It's been so beautiful out today. I took the boys for a big walk this morning, then we had coffee with our friend & her girls. Came home & the boys both took a big nap, and we went for another walk & played at the park. Then played in the back yard. I managed to get a little raking done while we were out there too!

The grass has almost a film on it fromt he snow or something. Its been a bugger to rake up, but it sure looks better. Just gotta finish the backyard, then we're all set.

Catching up

WOW - I guess I've been a slacker here this week, but its been BUSY!!! Thursday we just had a fun family day. We did alot of playing outside, took a walk and did stuff around the house.




Friday I cut Cayden's hair. He was WAY overdue...he was a shaggy little boy. Here are the before pics:

We had some friends over for dinner. Terry, Lorisa and Kael came over and we had so much fun. Cayden and Kael had a "ball" playing together. They were so funny! Lorisa was having Kael tell us what the different animals said, and when we asked him what a frog said, it was hilarious. He does the funniest face & is INTENT on saying it this way EVERY time. We were all just rolling laughing, so of course I had to video it, so I could watch him over & over again! He's just so stink'n adorable!!! Here are a few pics and the video of Kael.

Prestyn found the turn-about, I'm just waiting for him to figure out how to open up the other cupboards (like the tupperware)! :) He's been crawling EVERYWHERE and pulling up to stand on everything and even cruising the furniature! He's so funny! I love watching him explore.

Late Friday night Grammie, Papa and my cousing Jory came. Papa and Jory had to go to Bismarck on Saturday morning to pick up Jory's new jet-ski so they came here to spend the night. We sat up chatting. Then Saturday morning, papa & Jory went to Bismarck & left Grammie here with us! Cayden was in heaven having Grammie's undivided attention. Prestyn wasn't too sure at first, but he warmed up.

Justyn has been busy working on the last stretch of fence to finish. I went out & helped him for awhile while Grammie stayed in with the boys (it was COLD). He just has to put on the last stretch of boards & it'll be DONE, well other than staining, but I think we have to wait awhile before we can stain it.




So Papa and Jory came back with the Jet-ski and Cayden could NOT wait to get out & check it out. He kept calling it a Jet and I think he thought that it was a plane. Either way he thought it was really cool and Jory enjoyed showing it off. Cayden was loving Jory too.

He's cruising!!!!

WOW - we're did my itty bitty baby go? Prestyn is now cruising furniture and pulling up to stand on EVERYTHING.......which lead to his first fall & BIG bump. I still have to upload the picture but this afternoon he fell and banged his left cheekbone on the TV stand...poor baby! He's still adorable as ever, just had a big ole bruise. It'll be interesting to see how it looks in the morning.

We had coffee with some friends this morning. Cayden had so much fun running & playing with his friends. I just love our coffee dates and getting together with good friends for good coffee, and good conversations. The added bonus is Cayden comes home EXHAUSTED and sleeps so good. Its just refreshing.

I thank God for the fabulous friends He's given me since moving here. We've truly been blessed!

MELTING

Well, it was another beautiful day today! I had big plans to bake buns and breadsticks for the freezer, but once I was about to start I looked outside & just had to get out there with the boys.

We went for a long walk this morning & then just played in the back yard. Prestyn loves the swing and both of the boys got a ride in the wagon. Prestyn sat in the grass, that's right I said grass, we can actually see again! He wasn't sure what to think of it so crawled over to me instead.

We played outside some more this afternoon and even drew on the sidewalk. It was just a fun day!

I've been working on a few custom cards off & on the last couple days. Hopefully I'll be able to finish them up tomorrow!

Happy Easter Everyone! Our Redeemer Lives!!! Thank you Lord for saving my soul! What a fabulous day!

And fabulous day it was. The boys woke up HAPPY, Cayden wrote MOM on his doodle pro...I had to take a picture just to proove it! I'm so proud of our little man. He can spell mom, dad, Cayden & Prestyn verbally. Now we just need to learn how to write things other than circles, "snakes" and tracing our hands. Oh & we need to get our #'s figured out, but we have time. I'm just so proud of him, he's amazing!! He is just a little sponge & loves to learn.

Justyn is on nights so I took Cayden to sunday school. I attempted to go to the adult class with Prestyn which lasted about 4 minutes before he was mad. So we went to the nursery and he proceeded to fall asleep. Between sunday school & church they had a brunch for us & the kids did an egg hunt. By then Prestyn had woke up. My friend Julie took some pics of Cayden I'll have to share once I get.

Church...well we had a wonderful worship time. Some fabulous special music, including my nephew Kole who played a guitar solo. That kid is amazingly talented, and he just trotted right up front, sat down, played his song (awesomely I might add) and then went & sat back down! WOW to have his courage!
The service itself, well, I have a almost 3 year old & a 8 month old who was tired & HUNGRY...ugh.

We came home & had ham (yucky) baked potatoes and corn for lunch with daddy. Then we all took a big ole naperoo.
After naps we went outside & played in the backyard and even took a little walk, it was so beautiful out today!

Egg hunts, cookies & MORE cookies!

We had a fabulous day together today. We made sugar cookies & decorated them. Well I decorated them and Cayden licked frosting off, put more on, licked more off, put more on etc. :)



The Easter Bunny came to our house & left a bunch of Eggs, Cayden had so much fun finding "my orange one", and his "blue one" and his "other blue one"! It was fun to watch!






Prestyn has just started pulling up to stand now too....and then he gets torked because he can't get back down. Yes, I'm a mean mom & take pictures of him screaming instead of helping right away! These just make me laugh!
